The "2025 KRONOS Technology Seminar," hosted by KRONOS Precision Extrusion—a global leader in high-precision thermal insulation solutions—and its exclusive Korean partner, Dbarun Materials Solutions Co., Ltd. (CEO: Jo Yong-cheol), was successfully held on May 23 at the SKY31 Convention Auditorium in Lotte World Tower, Seoul.

Attended by approximately 100 participants, including major domestic construction companies, design firms, and industry professionals, the seminar featured the official launch of KRONOS's new next-generation high-strength Alu-Wired PA66GF25 insulation bar, "Ultimate-K," targeting the architectural aluminum system market. Additionally, in-depth sessions were presented on topics such as "International Standards for Polyamide (ISO, EN, AAMA)," "Thermal Analysis and Automated Design in Facade Engineering," and "Technical Solutions for Automotive & Industrial Applications with Factory QC Management," which greatly satisfied the attendees.

Jo Yong-cheol, CEO of Dbarun Materials Solutions Co., Ltd., the Korean partner organizing the event, stated, "While developing insulation solutions using polyamide, we hoped not only to introduce new products but also to provide fresh insights to our customers, moving beyond one-way information delivery. That was the motivation behind hosting this seminar."

In the first session, Wilhelm Heinrich Tobben, CEO of KRONOS Germany, introduced the company and its high-precision PA66 extruded insulation bars. He remarked, "Based on advanced German technology, KRONOS possesses mass-production facilities in China and Singapore. We provide differentiated solutions, offering not just standard products but customized insulation consulting services with structural composite polyamide. As our influence grows in the Korean aluminum system window and curtain wall market, we may also consider local production in Korea."

The second session, led by UnlimitedBIM CEO Yun Byeong-hee, focused on "From Thermal Analysis to Automated Design in Facade Engineering." Using major Korean facade project cases, he emphasized the importance of frame insulation performance and introduced overseas examples of computational workflow modeling.

In the third session, Jo Yong-cheol, CEO of Dbarun Materials Solutions, introduced KRONOS's new product, Ultimate-K. He explained, "Ultimate-K is an innovative product that combines German engineering-based high-precision extrusion technology with structural reinforcement using metal wire (Alu-Wire). It meets EN standards and offers excellent mechanical properties, including tensile strength, elastic modulus, and shear strength."

Traditional PA66GF25 insulation bars heavily rely on knurling processes, where quality varies with operator skill, and consistent dimensional tolerance with aluminum extrusion profiles is difficult to maintain. The new Ultimate-K presents a breakthrough solution with its "Alu-Wire-embedded high-strength insulation bar," eliminating the need for knurling and utilizing only a rolling process. This ensures stable assembly performance without compromising shear strength while enhancing productivity and construction convenience. The new product, manufactured through German PA66GF25 precision extrusion technology, achieves structurally superior strength and properties, meeting all requirements of international standards such as EN, AAMA, ISO, and GB/T.

Following this, Kerry GO, CEO of KRONOS Asia, presented on "International Standards for Polyamide." The seminar concluded with the final session by Michael Wong, GM of KRONOS Industrial Technology Department, who discussed "Technical Solutions for Automotive & Industrial Applications and Factory QC Management."
